Smith shared a post on social media while having his morning coffee.
Australia batsman Steve Smith took a break from cricket and gave himself some free time. A high-pressure contest is coming up against India in the four-match Test series and it's important to maintain the balance during preparation.
Smith sat comfortably on the sofa with his morning coffee to relax and keep his mind switch off from cricket for a while. He said it's hard for him to not think about cricket even when he takes a break.

"Even when preparing for a Test match it's important to have a little downtime and switch off, even if it's just for an hour over your Sunday morning coffee. This is not something that comes easy to me as I find it hard to stop visualizing the game or shadow batting!", Smith wrote in his social media post.
India had defeated Australia at their home in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy when they last time came Down Under. Smith wasn't part of the squad as he was serving a year ban for ball-tampering controversy.
Smith's role would be key for Australia in the four-match series. They would need their star performer to step up once again as he did in the Ashes last year.
