Australia's stand-in captain Matthew Wade talked about the unfortunate dismissal in the second T20I against India. Wade, who smashed a quick fifty, had to walk back on 58 because of his carelessness.

Wade was run-out on the last ball of the 8th over after his catch was dropped on the same delivery at the cover region. Washinton Sundar's delivery took his outside edge and ballooned to Virat Kohli. He had all the time in the world and a comfortable position to take the catch but ended up messing it.

Not only Kohli committed a blunder, even Wade was half-way to the pitch without any hope of surviving. He soon realized the catch is dropped, but it was too late for him to return to the crease.

“I saw Virat fumble the first time but then I didn’t see the ball coming out the second time, I thought he must have caught him. Once I saw the second one go in, I started to walk off. Smith actually called out to me but it was too late. I should have been out anyway,” he said.

Australia lost the second T20I after Hardik Pandya's heroic in the last over; smashing two big sixes to score the remaining 14 runs. "When you lose two T20Is, you review and India are a terrific T20 side, they have just come off the IPL as well, really locked into that format, so we were beaten by a better team,” Wade said.
