AUS v IND 2020-21: Virat Kohli's CK Nayudu XI beat KL Rahul's Ranjitsinhji XI in intra-squad match

The warm-up match was part of India's preparation for the upcoming white-ball series.

Virat Kohli’s CK Nayudu XI and KL Rahul's Ranjitsinhji XI faced each other in an 40-over per side intra-squad match on Sunday (November 22).

The warm-up match, which Kohli’s team won by 5 wickets, was part of India's preparation for the upcoming white-ball series against Australia, starting November 27.

Taking to Instagram, the official handle of Indian cricket team shared the update about the game in a series of pictures.

According to the Instagram stories, the start of the match was interrupted by rain.

Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal came out to open the batting for KL Rahul's Ranjitsinhji XI which posted a total of 235 runs on the board. Captain Rahul led from the front and smashed 83 runs off 66 balls.

In reply, Virat Kohli's CK Nayudu XI overhauled the target with 26 balls to spare. Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill opened the innings before Kohli played a brilliant knock of 58-ball 91.

The Instagram stories suggest that Rahul donned the keeping gloves for his team while Ravichandran Ashwin remained unbeaten for Kohli's CK Nayudu XI.
