Meanwhile, Team India have reached Australia and the players are currently serving a 14-day quarantine in Sydney. They are also practising while being in a bio-secure bubble.
On Sunday (November 15), speedster Mohammad Shami took to Twitter and shared a clip of his bowling practice in the nets.
"There is no better feeling than to play for your country. A long wait to bowl in the #TeamIndia nets finally ended today! Looking forward to our Australian tour," Shami captioned the video.
Shami has been named in India's squads for all three formats and could be seen in action on November 27 when the tour starts with the first ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
The 30-year-old fast bowler has embarked on the tour after a stellar showing in the 2020 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).
Playing for Kings XI Punjab, Shami claimed 20 wickets in the tournament from 14 games at an average of 23 and an economy rate of 8.57.
