The number three Hussain Talat along with the opener Babar Azam managed to play some delightful shots which eventually helped them to put up a partnership of 119 runs. Talat scored 63 before being dismissed while Azam carried on. With their dazzling effort, the Pakistan team were able to put Windies on back foot and a mammoth score looked well on cards.
Smart pick – In the run chase, the Windies batting could never really get going. Barring opener Chadwick Walton, no other batsman looked at ease in the innings. Walton scored a decent 40 off 29 deliveries. But it was a little too less with the target being a huge one to overhaul.
