With Pakistan already having won the first two games and secured the series, the third game is merely a dead rubber and it will be an opportunity for the hosts to try out their bench strength more than anything else. For West Indies, however, there is a lot at stake as they will be desperate to avoid the embarrassment of a whitewash. The series has turned out to be a no-contest whatsoever. There has been a drastic difference in the level of the two teams and unless and until West Indies pulls off something remarkable tonight, 3-0 is well and truly on the cards and that will be an absolute delight for the Karachi fans who have had the taste of international cricket after 9 long years.

Best economical pick – Keemo Paul is another player who the team management might want batting slightly higher, possibly at no. 5 as he too looked in great touch last night. He is someone who is worth being invested in as he has shown enough signs that he can be a good, long-term prospect for West Indies cricket. He has, in fact, been the only shining light for West Indies on this tour.

Top captains & vice captains – Babar Azam has emerged as the batting mainstay of the national side in the recent times. He is already being tipped as the next big thing in the Pakistan cricket. In the ongoing T20I against the Windies, the youngster proved the same to a great extent yet again. He added yet another feather to his illustrious hat that he has decorated in such a short time. Azam failed to hit a four on the final ball to be left stranded on 97. His knock came off 58 deliveries with 13 fours and a maximum. The number three Hussain Talat along with the opener Babar Azam managed to play some delightful shots which eventually helped them to put up a partnership of 119 runs. Talat scored 63 before being dismissed while Azam carried on. With their dazzling effort, the Pakistan team were able to put Windies on back foot and a mammoth score looked well on cards.

Smart pick – In the run chase, the Windies batting could never really get going. Barring opener Chadwick Walton, no other batsman looked at ease in the innings. Walton scored a decent 40 off 29 deliveries. But it was a little too less with the target being a huge one to overhaul.

Cautious Pick – Not sure if Marlon Samuels came to Pakistan to play T20 cricket or test cricket. In the first 2 matches of this series he played a lot of dot balls and perished later. His slow knocks can cost you some points so pick him in your squad at your own risk.

My XI – Babar Azam (Captain), Husain Talat (Vice-Captain), Fakhar Zaman, Shoaib Malik, Chadwick Walton, Keemo Paul, Sarfraz Ahmed,Andre Fletcher, Samuel Badree, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan
