South Africa will take on World Champions England in the first ODI at Newlands in Cape Town tomorrow.

After a disappointing Test series loss, South Africa will look for a fresh start in the three-match ODI series. With this series South Africa starting a new era in the leadership of Quinton de Kock and they have also picked up many new and young players for this series like Janneman Malan, JJ Smuts, Sisanda Magala, Kyle Verreynne, Bjorn Fortuin, and Lutho Sipamla and talented pacer Lungi Ngidi is also making his comeback from injury and they all will hope for a good and bright start in this series.

On the other hand, England has a strong squad but in the bowling attack they'll be without Mark Wood and Jofra Archer and the likes of Tom Curran, Chris Jordan, and Matthew Parkinson have a good chance to cement their places. Overall this series will be the contest between England's strong team and South Africa's inexperienced and young team.
