West Indies is set to begin their tour of India with a three ODIs series against Afghanistan. The first of three ODIs will be played in Lucknow tomorrow.

West Indies have struggled to perform in all formats of the game in recent times as they had a poor outing in the world cup and later couldn't win a single game against India at home and now they will look for a fresh start under a new captain Kieron Pollard.

They have also picked up a few new players like opener Brandon King, spinner Hayden Walsh and fast bowler Romario Shepherd. Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph is also making his come back from a long injury layoff. West Indies management will hope that this new team will start a new era on a good note.

On the other hand, Afghanistan is coming off with a good performance against Bangladesh and now will look to take advantage of these Indian conditions where they have played a lot of cricket over the years. Captain Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Rahmat Shah, and Mujeeb ur Rahman will be the key players for the hosts.
