Bangladesh decimated West Indies by an innings and 184 runs - their first ever innings victory, in the second and final Test in Dhaka and clinched the two Tests series by 2-0. On a spin friendly pitch after opting to bat first Bangladesh posted a massive total 508 runs on the board with the help of Mahmudullah's 136, captain Shakib's 80 and debutant Shadman Islam's 76. And after that it was their spinners' turn and they rattled West Indies' batting line up and bowled them out for just 111 runs and with a lead of 397 runs Bangladesh enforced follow on and once again West Indies batsmen except Shimron Hetmyer couldn't put up a fight and were bundled out for 213 runs. Shimron Hetmyer scored 93 runs off just 92 balls in the second innings. Mehidy Hasan picked 12 wickets in this match and was named Man of the Match and captain Shakib Al Hasan was named Man of the Series.
