Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 218 runs in the second and last Test match in Dhaka and leveled the two Tests series 1-1. Mushfiqur Rahim (219*) and Mominul Haque (161) led from the front and helped Bangladesh to post a mammoth total of 522/7 on the board. In reply,  Zimbabwe managed 304 runs and conceded a lead of 218 runs.

In the second innings Bangladesh declared at 224/6 and set a target of 443 runs for the vistiors. Zimbabwe put up a good fight in the fourth innings but their efforts were not enough to save the game and eventually they were bowled out for 224 runs and suffered 218 runs loss. Brendan Taylor scored hundreds in each innings of this Test. Mushfiqur Rahim was named Man of the Match for his unbeaten 219 and Taijul Islam was named Man of the Series.
