South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 4 wickets in the third and last ODI at Boland Park in Paarl and completed the whitewash of Zimbabwe in the three match ODI series. First two games of this series were low scoring affairs.

For South Africa, Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir were the stars. Steyn made his comeback in ODI side in the second game and scored his maiden ODI fifty when South Africa were reeling at 101/7 and later picked 2 wickets as well. In the same game Imran Tahir also picked a six-fer, including a hat-trick. On the other hand, Zimbabwe put up a decent fight throughout the series but their efforts weren't good enough to win a game.
