West Indies humiliated Bangladesh by an innings and 219 runs in the first Test match at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua within three days. West Indies asked Bangladesh to bat first on a green wicket and Kemar Roach's 5-wicket haul bundled out the visitors for just 43 runs in the first innings and in response West Indies finished on 406 with a massive lead of 363 runs.

Kraig Brathwaite scored a brilliant hundred, Shai Hope and Devon Smith also chipped in and scored fifties. In the second innings also Bangladesh couldn't put a fight and got all out for just 144 runs. West Indies lead by 1-0 in this 2 Test match series.

Their lowest total in Test cricket. The previous lowest was 62 against Sri Lanka in 2007.

- The lowest total in Test cricket in last 44 years. India got out for 42 runs against England at Lord's in 1974.

51 - Number of Test wickets taken by Mehidy Hasan Miraz - he became the sixth Bangladeshi player to take 50 or more Test wickets. 

61 - This was the 61st Test match of Mushfiqur Rahim's career and he equalled Mohammad Ashraful's record of most Test appearances (61) for Bangladesh.

112 - Bangladesh faced only 112 balls in their first innings - the second shortest first innings of a Test match in terms of balls faced.

Inns & 219 runs - West Indies' win of an innings and 219 runs over Bangladesh is their biggest win at home in Test cricket. The previous biggest was by an innings and 174 runs against Pakistan at Kingston in 1958. 

528 - Runs scored by Kraigg Brathwaite against Bangladesh in Test cricket - the most Test runs he scored against an opponent. 

4002 - Tamim Iqbal (4002 runs) became the first Bangladeshi player to score 4000 Test runs. He took 106 innings to achieve this milestone.
