England annihilated Australia by 242 runs in a record-breaking ODI game at Trent Bridge, Nottingham and clinched their seventh consecutive bilateral ODI series.

Australia asked England to bat first and England with the help of Jonny Bairstow's 139, Alex Hales's 147, Jason Roy's 82 and captain Morgan's 67, posted the highest ODI total of all time- 481/6 and in response, Australia never looked in control and got bundled out for just 239 runs and suffered one of the heaviest defeats of all time.

1 - For the first time ever England defeated Australia at Trent Bridge in an ODI game. This was their fourth ODI against Australia at this venue.

2 - Andrew Tye became the second Australia bowler to concede 100 or more runs in an ODI game after Mick Lewis who conceded 113 runs against Australia at Johannesburg in 2006.

7 - England has now won 7 bilateral ODI series in a row. The last time they lost an ODI series against India in India in 2017.

21 - Eoin Morgan scored his fifty in just 21 balls which is the fastest fifty for England in ODI. The previous fastest ODI fifty for England was scored by Jos Buttler in 22 balls against Pakistan at the same venue in 2016.

242 - England's 242 runs win over Australia is their biggest win (by runs) in ODI cricket history.
