The number one T20I ranked side Pakistan comfortably beat Scotland in both the T20Is and clinched the series by 2-0 in Edinburgh. Pakistan outplayed, outscored and outfield Scottish team in the all the departments. In the first game captain Sarfraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik scored the fifties for the team and in the second game, bowlers led from the front and bundled out Scotland for just 82 runs. Pakistan won the first and second T20I by 48 and 84 runs respectively.

8 - Pakistan has now won 8 consecutive bilateral T20I series. Since 2016 WT20 they have defeated England, West Indies (thrice), New Zealand, Sri Lanka, World XI and Scotland.

19 - Sarfraz Ahmed has won 19 T20I matches as a captain - the joint most wins as a captain for Pakistan in T20I cricket. Shahid Afridi also has 19 T20I wins as a captain.

56 - Number of sixes hit by Shoaib Malik in T20I cricket - the second most for Pakistan and only Shahid Afridi (73) is ahead of him.

82 - Second lowest total for Scotland in T20I format. The lowest is 81 against South Africa at The Oval in WT20 2009.

89* - Sarfraz Ahmed scored 89* runs in the first T20I game which is his highest individual score in T20I format and also highest individual score by a Pakistan captain in T20Is. The previous highest was 86 by Mohammad Hafeez against South Africa in 2013.

1030 - Shoaib Malik has scored 1030 runs at an average of 46.81 in 39 T20I matches since his comeback in May 2015. And since then only Rohit Sharma (1113) and Mohammad Shahzad (1243) have scored more runs than him.
