10 June turned out to be a historic day for Scotland cricket as the Scottish team registered their first ever ODI win against England. Being put to bat first, Calum MacLeod (140* runs off 94 balls) fired upfront for Scotland.
Captain Kyle Coetzer (58) and George Munsey (55) too scored fifties and the trio helped Scotland to post a massive score of 371 runs. In response Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy gave a brisk start to England as the duo scored more than 100 runs in the first 10 overs.
Jonny Bairstow scored his third consecutive ODI hundred in just 54 balls and the chase was looking easy for England but after his dismissal England lost the plot and kept on losing wickets regularly and eventually fell short of the target by 6 runs.
