England defeated Pakistan by an innings and 55 runs in the second and last Test match at Headingley, Leeds and drew the two Test matches series. Pakistan had won the first Test by 9 wickets at the Lord's, London.

Pakistan, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, were bowled out for just 174 runs in the first innings and in reply, England scored 363 runs and took a huge lead of 189 runs.

In the second innings too Pakistan crumbled under pressure and got all out for a mere total of 134 runs and suffered an innings loss. Jos Buttler was named Man of the Match for his unbeaten 80 runs knock and Pakistan's Mohammad Abbas was named Man of the Series.
