IRE vs PAK Test 2018 : Statistical Preview

All the major stats and facts all you need to know as Ireland take on Pakistan in their first ever historic Test match in Dublin.

Ireland and Afghanistan were granted Test status by ICC last June and now Ireland is ready to make their Test debut and will become the 11th Test playing nation when they take on Pakistan in their inaugural Test match at Malahide (Dublin) on Friday.

Though this is their first Test match, many Irish players have experience of playing county cricket and know their own conditions very well, so it will not be easy for Pakistan who has not played a Test match for more than 8 months to beat Ireland in their own backyard.

39y 231d - If he gets to play, Ed Joyce at the age of 39 years and 231 days will be the oldest player to make a Test debut, since South Africa's Omar Henry (40 years and 295 days) against India at Durban in 1992.

95 - Number of wickets taken by Mohammad Amir in Test cricket and needs 5 more wickets to become the 18th bowler to take 100 Test wickets for Pakistan.

3692 - William Porterfield's 3692 ODI runs is the most by any player at the time of his Test debut.
