Morne Morkel, the 33-year old South African pacer from Pretoria has retired from international cricket. The Johannesburg Test against Australia was his last match in international cricket. Having made his debut against India at Durban in the Test series of 2006 at home, Morne Morkel was a prolific cricketer for South Africa as well as for many other domestic teams.
