Second day of Third Test between South Africa and Australia at Cape Town was dominated by Dean Elgar who carried his bat and Morne Morkel who reached the 300 Test wickets mark.

3 - Dean Elgar has carried the bat three times in a Test match and he is the only second opener after Desmond Haynes (West Indies) to do so. Dean Elgar carried his bat against England in Durban 2015, India in Johannesburg in January 2017 and today against Australia.
