Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star AB de Villiers has reacted to the 28-year-old batter from Madhya Pradesh Rajat Patidar manufacturing one of the most remarkable playoff innings in IPL history.

The 28-year-old batter played a match-winning knock of 112* off just 54 balls, smashing 7 sixes and as many as 12 boundaries against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Eliminator. His innings  also impressed de Villiers who put out a tweet to praise the youngster.

Here’s the tweet,

On the back of this knock and Dinesh Karthik’s (37* off 23 balls) splendid batting in the slog overs took the Challengers to a mammoth total of 207/4 in 20 overs.

In response, the Super Giants lost opener Quinton de Kock in the first over, but skipper KL Rahul delivered a captain's knock, scoring 79 off 58 balls and putting together a 96-run stand with Deepak Hooda (45 off 26 balls). But once both of them were dismissed, RCB gained the upper hand.
