"Jhakaas!" Wasim Jaffer reacts to Team India's retro sweater for ICC WTC final with a meme

Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer has liked the retro look of Team India's sweater for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand. On Saturday (May 29), all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja posted a picture wearing a sweater that has a 90s look.

Sharing the picture of himself in the sweater on Twitter, Jadeja wrote, “Rewind to 90’s #lovingit #india.” Jaffer reacted to the picture and quoted the tweet in his usual style.

The ex-India cricketer, who is famous for his strong meme game on social media, used a meme featuring Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor which read, "Maska hai maska, ekdum Jhakaas!".

Team India members are currently serving eight-day quarantine in Mumbai before leaving for the United Kingdom (UK), which is expected on June 2. The players and staff members have already returned three negative RT-PCR results.

After the WTC final, the Virat Kohli-led side will face England in a five-match Test series. It will start at Nottingham (Aug 4-8), followed by matches at Lord’s (August 12-16), Leeds (Aug 25-29), Oval (Sep 2-6), and Manchester (Sep 10-14).
