Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer pull each other's leg in a funny Twitter banter

The banter started after Vaughan said he wants to block Jaffer on Twitter.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan and ex-India batsman Wasim Jaffer engaged in a hilarious Twitter banter on Thursday (May 27). It all started after Vaughan said he would like to block Jaffer on social media in a video interview.

Jaffer gave a funny reaction to Vaughan's words and he actually rejoiced after knowing the Englishman wants to block him. "Me and my friends after knowing @MichaelVaughan wants to block me," he wrote on Twitter responding to the video and attached a picture of Team India celebrating the Test series win in England in 2007.

The funny tweet from Jaffer did get a reaction from Vaughan. He responded to the tweet with a cheeky reminder of him getting the wicket of Jaffer in a face-off back in 2002.

Jaffer was dismissed by Vaughan in the first Test between India and England at Lord's in 2002. He was dismissed on 53 after Nasser Hussain took the catch.

"I would never do that Wasim ... No player that got out to my filthy off-spin will ever be blocked," Vaughan jokingly responded. To which, Jaffer wrote that he had no idea the dismissal would make him pay in this way. "Never knew I'd have to pay like this for getting out to your filthy off-spin," he replied.
