WATCH - Virat Kohli thanks his fans after reaching 100 million followers on Instagram

India captain Virat Kohli became the first cricketer to reach 100 million followers on Instagram. He is now the fourth most followed sportsperson on that social media platform.

On Wednesday (March 3), Kohli thanked his fans for the support through a video. The video shows a few of his best posts on Instagram which has a picture with his mother, wife Anushka Sharma, teammates, gym session, and an old cricket fan he met during the World Cup 2019.

"You have made this journey beautiful. Feeling blessed and grateful for all the love. Thank you ❤️ 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ million #instafam", he wrote while sharing the clip which starts off reading "milestone reached together".

Kohli has joined famous footballers Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Lionel Messi. Hollywood actor and WWE superstar Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, American singer-songwriter Beyonce, and Ariana Grande are also in the 100-million club.
