Kaif, Raina, Bhuvneshwar feature in RP Singh’s all-time UP XI

RP Singh took to Twitter to name his all-time UP XI.

RP Singh | TwitterWith no international or domestic cricket going on due to the Coronavirus pandemic, former and current cricketers are keeping themselves occupied by engaging with fans on social media.

On Sunday (April 12), former India pacer RP Singh took to Twitter and named his all-time Uttar Pradesh (UP) XI.

Singh, who represented India in 14 Tests, 58 ODIs and 10 T20Is, opted to go with wicketkeeper Vijay Chopra and Shashi Kant Khandakar as his two openers. For the crucial No. 3 position, he preferred former India batsman Mohammad Kaif followed by another international star Suresh Raina.

Rizwan Shamshad, Anand Shukla, and Gopal Sharma come in the middle-order. Shukla was also handed over the reins of the star-studded line-up.

Spinner Piyush Chawla, pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Praveen Kumar and Ashish W Zaidi form the bowling attack of the state team.

RP Singh also asked the Twitterati for their opinion on the team, in which he included Rahul Sapru as 12th man.
