As the entire world battles the global crisis created by the coronavirus pandemic, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has urged his countrymen to follow the advised precautions and take all precautionary measures to defeat this deadly COVID-19 virus.

While the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths are increasing rapidly with each passing day globally, Pakistan also faces a tough time like other Asian countries, recording 461 positive cases with 2 deaths till now.

He also suggested everyone use alcoholic sanitizer and tissue paper while sneezing and coughing to prevent the spread of the coronavirus while saying the country’s safety lies to its citizens' safety.

The legendary all-rounder has come up with a video message shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to spread awareness about coronavirus pandemic and on how to battle this tough situation.

In the video, Afridi can be seen saying: “Health is wealth. We have to take some preventive measures to defeat coronavirus. While sneezing, coughing, and before and after having food we have to wash our hands properly. It is very important to use alcoholic sanitizer to sanitize your hands. Use tissue paper while sneezing and coughing and put it in the dustbin. If you will stay safe the country will too.”

Noteworthy, a total of 176 countries have been affected by the COVID-19 virus while claimed over 10,000 lives 9,000 beside infecting more than 220,000 peoples, as it spreads rapidly to new territories.
