Michael Clarke learning how to wake up at 4 AM after divorce with wife Kyly

Clarke recently announced his separation after seven years of marriage.

Former Australia captain Michael Clarke on Wednesday (February 12) confirmed his divorce with wife Kyly Boldy after seven years of marriage. The couple has a four-year-old daughter and they will continue to co-parent her.

While the case of divorce often takes an emotional toll, Clarke seems to be doing fine in his bid to move on from the failed relationship.

On Thursday (February 13), Clarke revealed his new job as co-host alongside Laurie Daley of Sky Sports Radio’s Big Sports Breakfast. His announcement came on Instagram where he shared a picture with former Rugby player Daley.

In the caption, the 38-year-old jokingly wrote that he is preparing himself to wake up at 4 AM every morning.

Michael Clarke had represented Australia in 115 Tests, scoring 8643 runs with 28 centuries. He also led his country to a World Cup title in 2015 and bid adieu to international cricket same year.

Since then, Clarke has been an integral part of cricket broadcasting. He has commentated for Channel 9, covered the IPL for Indian broadcaster and was part of ICC’s official commentary team for the 2019 World Cup.
