New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham on Tuesday (January 7) took an India media outlet to task for putting ‘incorrect headline’ while publishing his news.

The media outlet had published an article with a title stating: “Jimmy Neesham mocks Australia on Twitter by calling IPL better than BBL.”

However, Neesham completely rubbished it as he felt that his tweets were taken out of context to fabricate the article.

“That is one of the most ridiculously incorrect headlines I’ve ever seen and you should actually be embarrassed about posting it. Grow up,” the Kiwi cricketer commented beneath the article shared on Twitter.

Jimmy Neesham was not part of the national side that played Australia in a three-match Test series down under. His last international game was against England during the T20I series at home in November 2019.

During the IPL auction last month, Neesham was roped in by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) for his base price of 50 Lakh.
