Born on 14th December 1994, India wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav is celebrating his 25th birthday today. Kuldeep first caught everyone's attention with his exploits during the ICC U-19 World Cup 2014 in UAE and that year also made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh. A rare commodity, Kuldeep was then picked in the IPL auction by popular franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, for whom he still turns up.
The youngster's big break came when Indian cricket finally embraced leg-spin under Virat Kohli's leadership as he was handed his Test, ODI and T20I debuts in the year 2017.
Kuldeep hasn't looked back ever since, taking 24 wickets in six Tests, including two five-wicket hauls apart from 96 ODI and 37 T20I wickets in 53 and 19 games in the two white-ball formats, respectively.
His ability to beat modern-day batsmen in the air and turn the ball sharply after pitching makes him special with many of the country's stalwarts considering him a great in the making.
