Shikhar Dhawan turns 34; receives birthday wishes from his teammates

Dhawan is currently out of the T20I team after failing to recover from a surgery.

India's opener Shikhar Dhawan trended on social media as he turned 34 on Thursday. We know how much Dhawan aka Gabbar is loved by the people. His admirers and teammates posted tweets wishing a very bright future and good health for him. 

The fans remembered his contributions in the past which played a big role in India's Champions Trophy 2013 win. He is also someone who does well in the ICC tournaments and the fans missed him in this year's World Cup 2019 competition.

Shikhar is loved by his mates. His ever-smiling face and ability to keep the atmosphere friendly makes him among the most favorite companies to have. He creates a moment wherever he goes, this is what his teammates say. Not to forget how he had imitated Akshay Kumar's character from movie Housefull 4 which was viral on social media.

Dhawan is currently out of the team because of knee surgery. He had suffered a deep cut on his left knee during a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy game against Maharashtra. Sanju Samson has replaced him for the T20I series against West Indies.
