AUS v PAK 2019: WATCH- Yasir Shah signals the number of times he has dismissed Steve Smith in Tests

Smith has found it difficult to battle against the Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah.

Australia batsman Steve Smith is currently the best Test batsman in the world. He has been in an outstanding form since his return to international cricket. The Ashes is where he announced his arrival with some really fine knocks. 

The Aussie batting star hasn't been bothered by any bowler. England pacer Jofra Archer had troubled him initially, but the overall battle was won by Smith. 

AUS v PAK 2019: First Test - Statistical Highlights

Steve Smith may have found ease to tackle most of the bowlers but against Pakistan's Yasir Shah, the ex-Australia captain still struggles. During the first Test between Australia and Pakistan, Smith was dismissed on just four runs by leg-spinner Yasir Shah at Brisbane. 

After dismissing Smith, Yasir showed how many times he has got the Australian batsman in Test cricket. He signaled 'seven' with his fingers while celebrating the wicket. 

The previous six times when Yasir has dismissed Smith are: 

1: 2014, on Yasir Shah's Test debut, he dismissed Smith who turned out to be his maiden Test wicket. 

2: 2014, second innings of Yasir's debut Test. 

3: 2014, In the second Test of the same Test series. Smith was dismissed on 97.

4: 2016, Shah picked up the wicket of Smith in the day-night at the Gabba, Brisbane.

5: In the third Test of Pakistan’s tour of Australia 2016-17.

6: In the second innings of the same Test.
