Indian star batswomen Smriti Mandhana has recently named her favourite footballer between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on social media.

She is currently in Caribbean with the Indian Women’s team for the limited overs series against West Indies. The 23-year-old is in great form with the bat, as she played a key role by scoring 74 in the ODI series decider to seal 2-1 victory for India over the West Indies.

Well, as usual, the left-hander continues to shine in the ongoing five-match T20 International series as well, as her 67 and 30* helped India to take 2-0 lead in the ongoing series against the hosts.

Meanwhile, though, India is a cricket crazy nation, but football is also very popular with the youth as well.

The Indian cricketers love playing football during practice sessions, and the likes of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni have often been seen flaunting their football skills during training sessions.

However, the Indian Women cricketers don't prefer to play football before the game, but it seems that Mandhana has great interest in football.

Recently, she recently interacted with her fans on Instagram, as the India star held a question and answer session – where one of her fans asked the cricketer to pick one between the two legends of football – Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, the question was not easy at all, as Messi and Ronaldo are already greats of the game in their own way, but when comes to who is better between the two, there is no end of this debate, though, Mandhana was clear with her choice, picking Ronaldo over Messi.

Noteworthy, India Women and West Indies Women will next take on each other in the third T20I on Friday, 15 November at Providence Stadium with the visitors looking to continue their dominance over the hosts in the T20I series as well.
