Former India captain MS Dhoni reads the game very well. It was apparent during his captaincy days. His anticipation and predictions played a notable role in decision making, which most of the times worked in his favour.

But probably Dhoni's one of the best predictions came when he was off the field. Five years from today, he wasn't part of the team when Rohit Sharma smashed ODI cricket's highest individual score at Eden Gardens against Sri Lanka.

Rohit scored 264 runs off just 173 balls to create history. Surprisingly, Dhoni had already tweeted that if the Indian opener doesn't get out, he will score over 250, which he did. Sharma was dismissed on the last ball of the innings.

It was a marathon innings by Rohit in which he smashed nine sixes and 33 fours. He scored 186 runs from fours and sixes. 

Rohit has overall three double hundreds in ODI cricket. He recently added a double ton in Tests as well against South Africa.
