AFG v WI 2019: WATCH- Kieron Pollard shows presence of mind, pulling out of delivery after no-ball called

The third ODI between Afghanistan and West Indies played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow saw the visiting team whitewash Afghanistan 3-0 in the three-match ODI series. West Indies won by 5 wickets after chasing down 249 quite easily.

Thanks to 86 from Asghar Afghan and half-centuries from Hazratullah Zazai and Mohammad Nabi, the Afghan team made 249/7 in 50 overs. In reply, Shai Hope slammed 109*, Roston Chase made 42* and Kieron Pollard made 32 in 26 balls as they chased down the score in 48.4 overs and won the game easily with five wickets in hand.

Talking about Kieron Pollard, the ever sharp all-rounder made everyone laugh as he hilariously pulled out of delivering a ball at the start of 25th over of Afghanistan innings. Pollard had completed his bowling action when the umpire called a no-ball, but he didn’t deliver the ball, which forced the umpire to change the decision to a dead ball. This also brought smiles to the faces of everyone involved.
