US cricket fan watches Pakistan-Australia T20I during his wedding, ICC tweets the picture

The fan sent a letter to ICC along with a picture of his family and himself watching the match.

A cricket fan from the United States of America, Hasan Tasleem, did not let his wedding stop him from watching his favourite team Pakistan play against Australia in the second T20I in Canberra on Tuesday (November 5).

Tasleem, who resides in Detroit Michigan, sent a letter to ICC along with a picture of his family and himself watching the match while the bride was welcomed with a traditional ceremony.

Taking to Twitter, the official handle of ICC shared the note penned by Hasan and a photo of the couple watching the game on TV alongside their family.

Coming to the match, Pakistan suffered a seven-wicket defeat in the second T20I.

Opting to bat first, the visitors scored 150/6 in 20 overs on the back of Iftikhar Ahmed’s 34-ball 62* and Babar Azam’s 38-ball 50. In reply, Australia rode on Steve Smith’s unbeaten 51-ball 80 to overhaul the target in 18.3 overs.

The third and final T20I will be played in Perth on November 8.
