The Delhi-born cricketer has been one of the most prolific scorers in cricket ever since his debut in 2008 and has been regarded as the best modern batsman by many in all the three formats overall.

The right-hander has 7066 runs in 82 Tests with 26 centuries, 11520 runs in 239 ODIs, with 43 centuries and 2450 runs in 72 T20I matches with a best of 90* and 22 half-centuries. These numbers are amazing and to top it, he won the U19 World Cup for India in 2008 and led India to its first bilateral ODI series win in South Africa, and first-ever ODI and Test series wins in Australia. He also led India to the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup.

Currently, he has been rested from the ongoing T20I series against Bangladesh and spending some time away from the game with wife Anushka Sharma and is on a trip to Bhutan.

However, his teammates from the Indian team didn’t forget to wish him on his birthday and we have some tweets for you.
