Tamil Nadu cricketer Vijay Shankar shared his transformation picture on social media and caught everyone by surprise. He showed what hard work and dedication could bring a positive change in oneself. 

"The sweat, the time, the devotion. It pays off!" wrote Shankar on Twitter to show his inspiring transformation to the fans. 

Shankar is among the most talked players this year because of his inclusion in World Cup 2019 squad and chief selector MSK Prasad's 3D comment. Shankar had replaced Ambati Rayudu to get into the side.

Unfortunately, Vijay had to leave the tournament in the middle after he got hit on the toe in the nets, not once but twice by Jasprit Bumrah.

He featured in three games against Pakistan, Afghanistan, and West Indies, scoring 15*, 29, and 14, respectively. With the ball, he picked up 2/22 against Pakistan.
