Ramiz Raja is undoubtedly among the most prominent voices of Pakistan cricket. However, he has been involved in commentary goof ups on several occasions.

Ramiz, who has represented his country in 57 Tests and 198 ODIs, once again grabbed the attention for his embarrassing mistake during the third T20I between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in Lahore on Wednesday (October 9).

While conducting the post-match presentation ceremony, Ramiz spoke to Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga, who was adjudged Player-of-the-Match for his outstanding bowling performance that helped the island nation to register a 13-run victory and inflict a 3-0 whitewash over the No.1 ranked T20I side.

Since Hasaranga doesn't speak English, chief selector of Sri Lankan cricket team stepped in for the translation. But what he translated was among the funniest moments in a presentation ceremony in cricket.

Ramiz asked, "Fantastic performance! Is this the best you have ever bowled?"

The man of the moment replied, "Yes".

Even though Hasaranga’s answer was clear to everyone, Ramiz took the mike to the translator, to which the latter said, “he said yes”.

As expected, fans on Twitter trolled the Pakistan commentator brutally after his on-air gaffe.

Even India off-spinner R Ashwin, who is currently featuring in the second Test against South Africa, tweeted the video with caption: “Lmao morning!!”
