India all-rounder Hardik Pandya underwent surgery to his lower back recently, and now he is expected to be out for three to four months. Last Saturday, the Indian cricket board announced that Pandya had undergone successful surgery on his lower back in London.
Pandya had himself posted a picture on social media after going under the knife. He seems to be doing alright for now. Hardik's Instagram stories showed his progress after the surgery. He has started to walk but mostly moves in a wheelchair.
The Baroda all-rounder had suffered the injury during the Asia Cup 2018 tournament in UAE. He had to take out on a stretcher, and further Hardik was ruled out from the rest of the competition.
Now, after trouble in his back reoccurring lately, Hardik decided to undergo surgery. He was ruled out of the Test series against South Africa because of the injury.
