Jofra Archer, Kevin Pietersen finalize the place of their royal battle

Jofra told Pietersen to make a provisional arrangement for the contest.

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen on Monday (October 7) extended his Twitter banter with pace sensation Jofra Archer.

After challenging to take on each other, the English cricket superstars have now finalized their place of battle as well.

The banter started on Sunday (October 6) when Pietersen commented on English speedster Archer’s Twitter post which suggested that the 39-year-old might return to competitive cricket.

Archer, who played a key role in England’s maiden ODI World Cup triumph, had tweeted: “I am ready to play cricket again”.

Commenting on his post, Pietersen wrote: “So am I! You bowl and I bat?!”

Jofra also took the challenge head on and replied: “Come on then”.

Pietersen then asked the speedster “when and where” he would like to bowl at him while also suggesting if he could face him during the upcoming South Africa tour, starting December 26.

Archer finally told the South African born Kevin Pietersen to make a provisional arrangement for the contest.

“Pencil it in,” he retorted.

During the Ashes 2019, Jofra Archer claimed 22 wickets in four Tests, including two five-wicket hauls, at an average of 20.12 and played a huge part in ensuring three lions level up to the Aussies after conceding the urn. He will now be seen in action during the two-match Test series against New Zealand, starting November 21.
