Ambati Rayudu's teammates greet him on his 34th birthday

Rayudu was dropped from the Indian team before World Cup 2019.

Hyderabad cricketer Ambati Rayudu turned 34 on Monday. He received wishes from his teammates in the Indian cricket team. Rayudu is among the most talked about players this year because of the ups and downs in his career.

Ambati had quit cricket after being ignored in the World Cup 2019. But he later announced his comeback after his well-wishers convinced him to reverse his decision. He has now been named captain of Hyderabad in the Vijay Hazare trophy.

Rayudu's Chennai Super Kings teammates and fans also poured in wishes for the IPL 2018 hero. He was Chennai's most successful batsman that year. His performance back then had earned him a place in the Indian side.

Harbhajan Singh, who played with Rayudu for Mumbai Indians and CSK wrote, "Happy birthday angry young man @RayuduAmbati have a great year ahead.. god bless ????????." There was once an incident when Rayudu and Harbhajan had almost come against each other in anger following a fielding mistake.

"Happy birthday, bro! Have a great one @RayuduAmbati ????May this year bring with it new opportunities, happiness , nd peace," wrote Suresh Raina.

Chennai Super Kings also posted their wishes for Rayudu, by singing a song for him.
