MS Dhoni's retirement speculations have been making the headlines ever since India’s ouster from World Cup in July. The veteran wicketkeeper recently missed the limited-overs series against West Indies as he took a sabbatical from the game to serve his paramilitary regiment. Moreover, he hasn’t been named in India’s T20I squad for the upcoming South Africa series at home.
Amid a lot of hue and cry over his immediate cricket future, India captain Virat Kohli on Thursday (September 12) posted a tweet which led to netizens speculating that Dhoni might be calling time on his illustrious career.
Subsequently, Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals conducted a poll, asking the Twitterati to guess what’s on Dhoni’s mind.
The four options that the inaugural IPL champions put include Dhoni’s return to Test cricket, international retirement, joining the army or he is looking forward to become a PM.
The post certainly didn’t go down too well with the Indian cricket fans as they brutally trolled Rajasthan Royals in the comment section.
