New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum and James Neesham – both are currently plying their trades in the ongoing Hero Caribbean Super League (CPL) 2019, have been involved in friendly banter on Twitter.

Neesham, the Black Caps all-rounder, is one of the most active and popular cricketers on the social media with his quirky posts and a great tongue-in-cheek humor.

A page on Twitter named ‘radioactive’ posted a picture and claimed to have found someone, who could play Neesham’s role in the New Zealand-based movie on the World Cup 2019 and the 28-year-old was also happy with the tweet, replying: “Yep, hell of a way to put someone in a good mood.”

Noteworthy, the left-hander was one of the standout performers for the Black Caps in the showpiece event. The all-rounder also played the Super Over in the World Cup Final against England at Lord’s, hitting 14 runs off five balls in the one-over eliminator.

However, Jimmy’s efforts could not save the match for New Zealand as the hosts were declared World Cup winners on the basis of boundary count and a highly dejected all-rounder advised kids to not take up the sport as a profession.

Meanwhile, McCullum, former New Zealand captain, jumped in and posted a collage of Neesham and an animal on Twitter to pull his leg with a witty take on the post. He wrote, “Prefer this personally,”

The Auckland-born southpaw also reverted in a funny way, posting McCullum’s picture while calling him ‘grandpa’. His caption reads, “Good to see grandpa finally figured out how to upload a photo,”

Noteworthy, McCullum is currently the head coach of the Trinbago Knight Riders in the ongoing CPL 2019 while Jimmy has been in brilliant all-round form for the franchise.
