India and Karnataka batsman Manish Pandey is celebrating his 30th birthday today. He was born on this day in 1989 in Nainital, Uttarakhand, but has played his FC cricket for Karnataka. A wonderful batsman in the top order and made his name for being part of India U19’s 2008 World Cup-winning squad.
He later made national headlines for becoming the first Indian batsman to score a hundred in IPL in 2009 in South Africa. So far, he has played 23 ODIs and 31 T20I matches making 440 and 565 runs respectively. He scored a brilliant match-winning century at SCG against Australia in 2016. He had made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2015.
