Former India cricketer Sourav Ganguly recently made his acting debut. He has appeared in a cameo for a Bengali serial named 'Bokul Kotha'. A clip of his appearance in the show has been shared on Youtube by Zee Bangla.

Ganguly can be seen helping a group of friends, who are his die-hard fans. He agreed to share tips and also gave them his autograph. He says play to the best of your ability and keep fighting till the last ball.

Ushasi Ray, the lead actress of the serial, was delighted to work alongside someone like Ganguly. The Indian cricket hero is treated as a legend in Bengal.

"I can't explain how good Dada (Ganguly) is. I was very nervous by the thoughts that I have to share the screen with a global personality. But he is very jolly. While shooting, he asked me about my residence, my studies, and a lot of things. My nervousness went away when I was talking to him," she said, as quoted in Indian Express.
