Fans entering the playing area isn't something new in cricket. The passionated fans most of the times break the security to get a closer look of their cricketing idols, while there are also some incidents when a streaker has entered the ground for 5 minutes fame. 

But Twitterati dug a popular video from 1975 when a female fan of ran towards Brijesh Patel, the Indian cricketer during a match between India and West Indies at Wankhede.

It was the second innings of India's innings, and they were chasing 404 after losing five wickets on just 59 runs. Patel stood alone to have a fightback and ended up scoring an unbeaten 73 in only 111 balls. He received applause from the fans. But there was one of the female fans who wanted to congratulate him personally.

She entered the ground, escaping the security, and kissed Brijesh for the innings. India was eventually bowled out on just 202 runs.
