Indian cricket fraternity wishes Harbhajan Singh on Twitter as he turns 39

Harbhajan Singh had made his debut in 1998 and played his last game for India in 2015.

Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh turns 39 years old today. Nicknamed “the Tubanator”, Harbhajan Singh was one of the youngest to debut for India at the age of 17 in 1998 against Australia in Bangalore. He has been part of India’s 2007 World T20 and 2011 World Cup winning teams and had a big role to play in both tournament wins.

Harbhajan had to fight authorities as he was often reported for his action, but came back with a remodeled action and went on to pick 417 wickets in 103 Tests, 269 wickets in 236 ODIs and 25 wickets in 28 T20I matches. He also scored 2224 Test runs with two centuries to his name and 1237 ODI runs. Despite all his credentials and abilities, time took its toll on the offie and he last played a Test for India against Sri Lanka in Galle in 2015. He also has a very good record in IPL, picking 150 wickets in 160 matches with the best bowling of 5/18.

Today, he has transformed into a commentator and received wishes from some of his former teammates on his 39th birthday.
