There were talks of nepotism when cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar was named in the India Under-19 squad for the tour of Sri Lanka last year. Akin to his father, Arjun remained quiet and now his on-field exploits are making the noise.

After making his mark in the T20 Mumbai League last month, Arjun recently made everyone sit up and take notice of him while playing for MCC Young Cricketers against Surrey 2nd XI in the Second XI Championship.

In his very second over, Arjun removed Surrey opener Nathan Tilley with a magical ball. The delivery from the left-armer was angled across from over the wicket and swung back in to hit the top of the right hander’s off stump.

Here is a clip of that dismissal:

Arjun was the stand-out bowler for MCC Young Cricketers, claiming 2 wickets for 50 runs in his 11 overs. Despite the valiant effort from the 19-year-old, Surrey 2nd XI went on to score 340/6 while MCC Young Cricketers currently trail by 227 runs with four wickets in hand.
