India is finally kickstarting its World Cup 2019 campaign on Wednesday (June 5) at Southampton against South Africa.

The might of the world No.2 ranked ODI side is taking on the Proteas, who have already suffered two defeats in the quadrennial event versus England and Bangladesh.

There has been a sense of anticipation around this encounter for a while now. But that reached another level in the last couple of days, especially with Team India having to wait six days since the tournament began on May 30 to play its very first game.

That is why fans and even famous veteran India cricketers couldn't help but express their wishes over Twitter for Virat Kohli's men at the beginning of the all-exciting day. The best of which, you can read over here;
