Indian Cricket Fraternity congratulates PM Narendra Modi, as BJP-NDA sweeps 2019 polls

Narendra Modi tweeted to say India Wins again.

PM Narendra Modi Yes! Iss baar phir Modi Sarkar. The slogan that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and its allies in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has floated during the Lok Sabha 2019 polls to bring back Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India has come true. BJP-NDA has swept the 2019 elections with the faction gaining majority almost everywhere in the nation.

Lead shows that Narendra Modi and the BJP will again get a clear majority on its own by winning 294 seats, which is better than the 282 seats it had won in the 2014 general elections. "Together we grow. Together we prosper. Together we will build a strong and inclusive India. India wins yet again! #VijayiBharat," PM Modi tweeted this evening.

In 2014, the NDA had won 336. It was the first time in more than three decades that a single party won the majority on its own. The BJP has managed to keep its core states - the Hindi heartland, Gujarat and Maharashtra - while posting fresh victories in Bengal, Odisha and the northeast. It has also scored a huge win in Karnataka - a state the Congress rules jointly with HD Kumaraswamy. The alliance has also posted a huge lead over the Mayawati-Akhilesh Yadav alliance in Uttar Pradesh and has shown tremendous improvement in Bengal, winning 19 seats this time, as compared to just two in 2014.

The political fever also grabbed the Indian cricket as well this season as Gautam Gambhir joined BJP and stood in the elections and holds lead from East Delhi constituency.

The whole of Indian fraternity took to Twitter to wish PM Narendra Modi on his landslide victory and we have some of the best tweets.
