India wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav on Wednesday (May 15) dismissed the talks of his comment on MS Dhoni’s tips going wrong a lot of times. Kuldeep’s clarification came in the wake of the heavy criticism that he faced on social media from the Indian cricket fans.

As per a report published in PTI on Tuesday (May 14), Kuldeep on the sidelines of the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards had said: “There are a lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him.”

Soon after the news went viral on social media, the chinaman bowler faced the wrath of passionate Dhoni fans, who suggested him to keep his mouth shut and rather focus on cricket.

Clarifying his stance on the matter, Kuldeep posted a story on his official Instagram account in which he slammed the media for fabricating his statement.

"Here we go for another made up controversies by our media who loves to make tangy rumours for no reason. Just want to throw some light on the issue that has been proliferated by some people, that the news is totally false. I didn't give any inappropriate statement about anyone. #Much respect Mahi bhai," he wrote.

Kuldeep and Dhoni will be seen playing together during the upcoming ODI World Cup, starting May 30 in England and Wales.
