Over the years, cricket fans have witnessed the batsmen losing their wickets in strange ways. While some of them are tragic, some are hilarious.  Those hilarious incidents are certainly a treat to watch.

Recently, a comical dismissal occurred in a Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and New South Wales at Drummoyne Oval. Australia spinner Steve O' Keefe was the victim of this bizarre dismissal.

Having tweaked hamstring during the match, O' Keefe was the last man to come out to bat for his team. He came to the crease with Nick Larkin as his runner. Unfortunately, the NSW spinner completely forgot that he had a runner and ended up losing his wicket in a chaotic manner.

Here’s the video:

"His hamstring can't be that bad as well," the commentator said. "Because if it was that bad you'd know as soon as you took off that you shouldn't be running."

Coming to the match, New South Wales were bundled out for 135 in reply to Victoria’s first innings total of 106. Opener Daniel Hughes was top-scorer for NSW with 45 runs while Jon Holland claimed five wickets in the innings for Victoria.

In the second dig, Victoria are currently placed at 159/7, leading NSW by 130 runs with two days play still remaining.
